Who We Are

Peter C. Salmon, LLC is a limited liability company based in Mountain View, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley. We are connected to a collaborating network of scientists, engineers, mathematicians, industrial designers, fabricators, test houses, reliability houses, and skilled model builders. We work with many of these resources on a continuing basis; thus we can form diverse teams and capabilities that adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Because of these friendly relationships and also because of the spirit of cooperation that thrives in Silicon Valley, this talent can be assembled in short order. The resources can be applied to your problem with a speed and efficiency that is difficult to achieve in "brick and mortar" corporations. This solution can be most cost-effective, especially for time-critical problems. The ability to solve them with talented individuals and the right mix of skills and backgrounds is critical to low cost.

We are an active member of IEEE-CNSV, Consultant's Network of Silicon Valley, founded under the auspices of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. CNSV is a vigorous community of talented consultants who have a tradition of working together to solve engineering problems. Peter Salmon is an At-large Director of CNSV, and also founded special interest groups (SIGs) of technical peers that meet monthly at CNSV. CNSV includes engineers, scientists, attorneys, patent experts, expert witnesses, product developers, web developers, technical writers, and business process specialists.

Example collaborator: Walt Maclay at Voler

Walt Maclay is President of Voler Systems, and his shop is located just under 4 miles from our facility. Voler is a capable design and test house that can provide support on multiple levels. For example, on a recent project, they provided a technician and a software developer to assist with product analysis in connection with a patent litigation case.
