Electrostatic Motors

Salmon Technologies, LLC, is developing proprietary new technology for electrostatic motors and generators. Power density and energy efficiency will be substantially higher than for electromagnetic machines. Our designs eliminate the use of magnetic materials; consequently magnetic losses such as hysteresis and eddy currents are also eliminated. Resistive losses are also much reduced compared with conventional technology.
